Grapevine

Grapevine is the oldest settlement in Tarrant County, originating under the Lone Star flag of the Republic of Texas in 1844, a year before Texas was annexed by the United States of America.

Today, the city has grown into a thriving center of culture and commerce, anchored by the Grapevine hospitality industry. Currently, nearly 50,000 people call Grapevine home. Grapevine honors and preserves its history through programs and preservation efforts. Venues such as the buildings along Historic Main Street, the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, Nash Farm, the Settlement to City Museums and more combine to remind locals and visitors alike about the history and heritage of this amazing city.www.grapevinetx.gov
